I love this sailor dress. And it really works with the nautical theme that is so popular right now. But as soon as I saw it, I immediately thought of Sailor Moon. I guess it’s just that the bow is so high. The colors don’t match and the style isn’t exact, but with the bow and the short hem, that’s just what comes to mind.

I have been having some trouble styling these socks since I got them. But I think this is how it’s going to work from now on. I got the right height out of them without being too slutty, or too school girl.

Overall, I’m am so happy with my new purchase (the dress). And I have finally redeemed my purchase of these socks that I bought months ago and never wore.

All I did today was cook dinner, play on the internet, and go to Walmart. But it still felt nice to dress up. I like having a reason to wear cute clothes, and not just jeans and a t-shirt everyday. Not that I’m not perfectly happy in jeans and a t-shirt. I just like being able to be girly on a regular basis.

Sean is mixing a record for a friends band. And I am getting anxious to start ours. We finally have pieced together a whole drum kit. I like to refer to it as the son of Frakenstein. But it sounds great, like an old surf, jazz kit. Which is totally perfect for us. We put together all the aspects that we like best in drums. I should say that Sean put it together. But I’ll give myself credit by association.
